Dear valued members
After a long hiatus, it gives me great
pleasure to be back at China
Club among my dear friends again. I see
many familiar faces and,
great delight, many new faces as well. I trust we will get to
each other better with each appearance you make at the Club.
We have lined up some lovely,
family-focused events with exciting
dishes, courtesy of our Executive Chef Yim Yiu Wing whose culinary
never ceases to amaze me. The past three months have
whizzed by and here we are at the start
of the new quarter with a
line-up – we hope you like it!
Before I reveal what they are, may I take
this opportunity to dedicate
quarter to our parents. Many of us are parents ourselves, so
let’s make this a period to show our love
and gratitude to them and
at the same time give ourselves, family,
friends and colleagues a
First up is Secretary’s Week in April.
Lunch at China Club with its
relaxing atmosphere will be such a nice
way of saying a big thank
to all those who face office stress day after day. Then in May it’s
Mother’s Day, followed closely by
Father’s Day in June.
