Blackberry Supper Club
3 December 2007 Research In motion (RIM), a global leader in wireless innovation, launched the Blackberry Pearl 8120 on 3 December at China Club. Guests were invited to an exciting game of poker. After moments of fun and laughter, the winner walked away with a set of the exclusive Blackberry Pearl 8120. The others who were present received a handset from the Blackberry 8800 series each. It was a rewarding occasion indeed! |

Keep on Walking - Diageo’s Mentoring Programme Diageo is the world’s leading premium drinks business with an outstanding collection of beverage alcohol brands across spirits, wine and beer categories. They organised a Johnnie Walker mentor programme, introducing the IDS team to the Johnnie Walker family, describing in terms of nose, taste, blend and key malts, the differences between each variant at The China Club. The night began with the tasting of Johnnie Walker Black label aged 12 years, then tried some Johnnie Walker Green Label, a 15-year-old blend of only single malt whiskies, then progressed to Johnnie Walker Gold label aged 18 years and finally, they tried the Johnnie Walker Blue label. This is a blend of their rarest whiskies and has won more gold medals for excellence than any other super premium whisky. |
