selection to please all palates. Indulge in the wide selection of
wine ranging from the Old World to the New World.
Try our wine by the glass offering, where there is a selection of 3
varietals of white wine and red wine and of course champagne.
Champagne
Bollinger Special Cuvee – Hailing from the
Ay district in Champagne, this extravagant wine consist of 60% Pinot
Noir, 25% Chardonnay & 15% Pinot Meunier
and is fermented in old oak barrels. The palate is extremely
fresh with flavours of lime & lemon and the fine mousse gives it a
creamy texture with an unexpected touch of delicacy and a pleasing dry
finish.
White Wine
Shaw + Smith, Sauvignon Blanc,
Australia
– Coming from the premium region for Sauvignon Blanc grapes, Adelaide
Hills, Shaw & Smith Sauvignon Blanc has the typical characteristics
of grassiness along with riper fruit characters. The palate of
this wine is fresh and lively with pure fruit varietal flavours and a
crisp acidity.
Egon Muller, Riesling Scharzhof, Germany – Coming from the Mosel
Saar Ruwer region, the premium region for
wines in Germany , where the vines are grown on south facing slopes
of stony, slaty soil and all grapes are hand
harvested. The palate of this off-dry wine has a balance of
sweetness and minerality with good crisp
acidity
Beresford Highwood Chardonnay, Australia – The
grapes for this wines comes from the regions
of Langhorn Creek, Padthaway
& McLaren Vale. The palate of this wine has notes of peaches and
melon with a soft creamy lingering finish and hints of subtle oak.
Red Wine
Château Bessan Ségur, Medoc France – This wine
hails from the region of Civrac Medoc where
the soil is predominantly limestone with an annual production of
350,000 bottles. The average age of the vines
are around 60 years and the wine is made from 50% Cabernet Sauvignon,
48% Merlot & 2% Petit Verdot. The
palate showcases hints of ripe fruit with slight spice. Soft
tannins and good acidity gives this wine a long finish and good
balance.
Rosemount Estate, Cabernet Sauvignon, Australia
– Hailing from the Coonawarra region where
the Cabernet Sauvignon grape thrives, this wine showcases a palate of
ripe fruits with hints of plum, bramble and also chocolate. It
has the characteristics of cedar like oak and soft spice plus a long
finish, balanced with soft tannins.
Viu Manent, Reserva Merlot, Chile –
Coming from the Colchagua Valley this reserve
merlot showcases lush flavours of cinnamon and black cherry with hints
of licorice & sweet herbs. Fresh
acidity and soft tannins combine to give this wine a long & elegant
finish.
